What an awesome sunny day to kickstart our first event for the new academic year at the WNDSSP 60 Active Minutes Festival! 🎉
Today, Year 1–4 pupils from 7 schools (8 teams) came together at Taverham High School for a fun-filled festival of active movement, teamwork, and Self Belief 💪✨ our School Games value of the day.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Pupils took on 8 enthusiastic activity stations aimed at developing Physical literacy & the fundamental skills of Agility, Balance, Co-ordination, Run, Jump & Throw (Parachute, Cone Ladder Shuttles, Circle Games, Rubik’s Cube & Noughts & Crosses, Throw Mania, Slalom Poles, Catch Crazy & Rock, Paper Scissors) all brilliantly led by the fantastic Taverham High School Sports Leaders @taverham_high_school_pe – inspiring role models in action!👏

🙌 A big shoutout to all the schools who took Dereham Church Infant, Lyng, Queens Hill, Reepham, Swanton Morley, Toftwood Infant and Toftwood Junior x2 👏👏👏

Today wasn’t just about being active it was about believing in ourselves, trying new things, and having FUN! 😆
